I have seen others with a similar patch, and a bunch that make it look like he's wearing an armband just below his right elbow. Is this a known thing?
Hi Andrew,

Yes, that print line is very common on that card. Regardless, that’s a very nice example. Enjoy!

Thanks! Yeah, as long as it's not paper loss, I'm fine with it.

I picked this beauty up locally from an older gentleman who'd had it since he was a kid.

This one was luck. It wasn't a steal, but a fair price for both of us. I just try to be nice to people, deal fairly and unaggressively, and hope the right cards find me. Often they do.

I have another raw example of this card that isn't quite as nice that I'll probably get graded and trade it towards something on my want list.

I try to be nice and fair to people too - I just apparently don't encounter the people who have a 1949 Bowman Paige laying around. I need to find better people to be nice to.

Ha!!! Did I mention "spending too much time looking for stuff on the internet"? Because that's probably a bigger part of it.

That is outstanding. I’ve been looking for a nice, centered, lower grade example lately. Yours is head and shoulders above that! Great snag!

My favorite card ever of my favorite player ever.

Congratulations! I wish I could afford a '9', but that would just be 'chasing the flip'- and I'll never do that.
