early - mid-90s hockey
Are there any early to mid 90s hockey cards/players that have a hot market? that was my main hockey collecting period, and then I didn't pay attention for 25 years. I'm guessing I've got nothing but memories.

Some is hot
1990-91 OPC Premier is doing well particularly Jagr.
1991-92 Upper Deck Hasek has taken off. Check for Iginla, Thornton RC's for certain and Chara 1997-98 SP. |

We sat in Section 205 Row K Seats 13-14 at the Coliseum. Looking through the ticket stubs that dad and I saved over the years, he was sitting there starting at least in 1974-75. We found a stub from Game 6 VS the Flyers in the Semi Finals that year. When the protective net went up, we moved to Row I Seats 1-2.
But in the late 90s, there was no one going to games. 3-5 k a night. A pre-season game? Maybe 1500. So...in between the 1st and 2nd period, I turned around and there was this very tall, very skinny young man standing behind us (we were last row on the aisle in Row K). There was some talk about this very tall, very raw talent coming from Slovakia. He wrestled his dad, he was tall, etc. And...there he was. There was NO ONE in our section and I asked him if he wanted to sit down. He sat down, He was very pleasant, very quiet. And that's how I spent a period watching pre-season hockey with Zdeno Chara. |

Jagr, Thornton, Lidstrom, Hasek, Bure, Fedorov, Datsyuk, Marleau, etc. High grade will fetch some $$$$

that is good news
I actually have some of these guys. Bure was my favorite player, so I have a bunch of his. And I accidentally collected a bunch of Hasek rookies.

An oxymoron, but that is a great accident that happened to you.

I noticed the French versions of his UD and Parkhurst are going nuts. They made a ton of product, but prices are still soaring. Don't forget Forsberg too.
