I think you are correct. The Nettles was an early error that was quickly corrected. A friend and I bought and split a case of fleer wax pack boxes with errors in 1981. We got a lot of error cards, but no Nettles. His card only showed up corrected in the boxes we received.

That's all a good start.

Trading card database breaks it down into three (Four? I forget already) print runs. I'm pretty sure the 1st is two separate, and there may be divisions in the others.

I'm also pretty sure I can tell most of them apart. I sort of had it figured when I was collecting them when they were new. And the details on the variations should make it easier.
