Really enamored with my latest T206 player autograph. This Ollie Pickering almost looks like a signed pre-war card—maybe black & white unissued T206 batting proof? Really happy with this one.
Always looking to add to my signed T206 player collection, if anyone has any to offer! ![]()

Very nice placement of the signature, nice to see that Mr. Carlton cared where he signed that card.

Nice pickup there of Pickering, the first batter in American League history! Here's a link to a letter handwritten by Pickering.

Here's Deacon Phillippe's signature on a government postcard from 1948. He sure had an interesting career. He grew up in the Dakota Territory before it split into to and became a state. It was so remote that big league talent evaluators didn't find him until he moved to Minnesota.
Phillippe threw his first pitch in the majors two months before his 27th birthday. He still put up six 20-win seasons. He still holds the record for lowest walk per nine rate and many World Series records. Here's a story about how his late big league start probably cost him a chance at Cooperstown. This Phillippe signature is on CooperstownExpert.com on Phillippe's page. The autograph site has pages for every Hall of Famer and a few hundred other guys. |

Picked up a Mookie Betts rookie auto card. Does anyone know why Betts stopped signing for the card companies after 2015?
