Gary, have not seen that Daily Graphic Cincinnati before, very nice. Unusual it would be 1873.
Derek, the images you ask about are both from 1869, one is sheet music, the other from Leslie’s.

Gary,
That's a great woodcut and I'm quite certain that it's the one of the first baseball woodcuts from the Daily Graphic. In that same year, there were woodcuts depicting the Baltimore, Athletics and Atlantics club in that same half page format.

Bruce, that sheet music is fantastic as well! The Cincinnati Red Stocks Leslie's woodcut from 1869 is the toughest Leslie's woodcut to find imo. I have seen a lot more of the Creighton woodcuts over a 20+ year period but have rarely seen that Red Stockings collage.

Gary, yes, I am an idiot. I saw George and Harry and my mind immediately went to 1869 .
George, I agree that the 1869 Leslie’s is very tough to find. Somewhere on here there is a post I did that tried to list the various images of the 1869 team, many of which were adapted for other uses. It would probably take you a week to post all your woodcuts.
