Agreed. What a horrible call. If MLB can completely change baseball statistics by adding the Nergro league stats, they why can't they change that blown call to give credit for that perfect game?
I am not sure about this one, but didn't the great Roberto Clemente pass away with 2,999 hits only to have MLB review tapes and change an error to a base hit giving Clemente 3,000 hits? (I agree with this decision) Does anyone remember any other times where MLB did something like this? I am not talking changing a hit to an error the next day. Bob |
