Jason now gives you a photo of something that I think you have not seen, the letter that Babe sends to Abel Linares accepting his visit. Greetings.

That’s fantastic. Here is a great early picture of Linares from the 1906 Cuban Edition of the Spaulding Guide

Jason, now you have the photos of the book by Wenceslao Galvez from 1889 and Los Sports y la Higiene from 1887, do you have the book "Baseball in Cuba and America" from 1908? Regards.

I do have Baseball in Cuba and America and believe it is one of the most interesting Cuban baseball books. The range of topics in the book is incredible, as it talks about early history, foreign tours and even the integration of Cuban baseball

Jason, I agree with you about how interesting this book is, I have seen very few copies, I have been told that a few years ago it was reprinted, you know something? I'm going to send you a photo of mine from 1908, it's new. Since you have a good collection, I ask you the following from the Cuban baseball magazines of the 1880s, "El Club, El Catcher, La Pelota, El Pelotero en la Habana, El Strike, etc. Do you know or do you have any? Greetings.

I don’t have any newspapers that date to the 1880’s.. My earliest is a copy of El Petit Habana from 1900. I think it is worth noting that the papers issued in Cuba at this time were actually of higher quality then those being published on the US

This is one of my favorites. A 1904 issue of El Score with Luis Padron on the cover
