Here's another fun photo.
Canton’s first letter carriers with Postmaster Augustus Vignos, 1882. Front, from left: James C. Shoop, John Ryan. Standing: Alvin Hurford, David Pletcher, Randolph G. Garber, Augustus Vignos. Boy on the porch is Ralph Shoop. Courtesy McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, Canton, OH Cleraly Vignos & Hurford were close. Also a 1903 photo taken in front of the post office where they worked together. May have even been taken by them. Photos are not mine. _ Last edited by Casey2296; 04-22-2021 at 04:04 PM. |
