Truly comical to watch. But then, much of the game is a joke now.
Hitters need to "hit 'em where they ain't" and that will get rid of the shift. The pitcher technically should have covered either 3rd or home plate. Maybe some Little League coaches can come in and give these guys a few pointers...

Are there any stats on how well it worked against Ted Williams? Anecdotally, he was too stubborn to go the other way, and it worked to some extent. Although given his stats that seems implausible.
