If PSA was smart, they would design a slabbing machine the size of a briefcase and send graders door to door. Not only can they grade your cards, but everything else in your house. Video games, comics, coins, beanie babies, your toaster, grandpa’s ash urn, whatever.

...and charge $1,000 per item. The sad thing is, people would pay it.

Its PSA. They are HUGE. They are so overrun they shut down business. I would be willing to guess the number of lost packages has shot up

for the same reason good girls like bad boys.

Very sorry about the loss. As much as I always thought it was dopey, you put yourself out there and piss blood for 6-9 months for everyone. I think the package will eventually show up and it isn't your fault. To offer this service for everyone, you deserve a pat on the back, not a kick in the teeth right now. Good luck my handsome friend & All the best, Fudd.

Totally agree. I’m as big a skeptic of PSA as anyone here, and probably derailed these threads a time or two out of frustration. But nevertheless feel terrible for Bobby and everyone else impacted.

Bobby, you’ve provided a great sense of community and performed a valuable service for those who wanted their cards graded. You did the scut work that nobody else wanted to take on. The sheer volume at hand dictates that some cards will inevitably get lost. I hope you don’t take this incident too hard. You are a great asset to this forum and have helped a ton of people in the process.

That said… I bet the cards eventually turn up. Fingers crossed!

Thank you. I hate to say this, but I was perusing some youtube videos to see if others had issues recently. One guy on there had a major issue with an Allen Iverson rookie card with a cracked case. He wound up getting a totally different card back (and someone else wound up getting his card). I was amazed at the level that PSA reached out to this gentleman over his whole ordeal. Our situation is worth a whole lot more $$$ than his was. Hopefully they will show me the same level of customer service that they showed that gentleman. Us Net54 guys deserve it.

The slab sealers I have seen are way smaller than a briefcase. Used to be a joke that one grading company would sell you the slabs and flips. Then send you the slab sealer. When done you would put machine back in the box and write "wrong address, return to sender" on it to save on return shipping.

Maybe I can get slabbed. I’m vintage, well-centered, have good color, a nice surface, and am sharpe. I think I’m a PSA 8 all day.

Looks like a 3 to me with a surface crease and sharp corners. A PWCC Sticker for top 15% of 3's ....maybe????
