I'm making this up, but it very well could/should be true. Carlton Fisk and Steve Carlton are the only two players named "Carlton" to ever appear on a baseball All-Star card.

Burt Hooton's middle name was Carlton and he was an all-star in 1981. But, we all know he didn't go by Carlton and a quick search of eBay shows the only thing he appeared on as an All-Star was a 1992 Trak Auto Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star stamp, which is not a card. Tex Hughson's middle name was also Carlton (and, actually, his first name was Cecil).
