LOL....after what I had to pay for it you wouldn't want it. Both of these will reside in my collection....probably permanently or until I sell my collection again (I have no reason to at this time. )

I would take either card.

Not an easy question.

Both cards look really good I am not sure I can pick one over the other.

If I had to choose I would probably pick the 4.5

I like the 4.5. Wear on the bottom corners is less pronounced and the text on the back is sharper. But they're both beautiful cards.

The 4.5, because it has a little more of an "I'm an old card that still looks nice" vibe vs. "I'm an old card that is trying too hard to look like a shiny new card", which, whether or not it has been tampered with (not saying that it has been and probably hasn't), still always leaves a negative impression in my lower condition brain.

If you're a flip freak, then PSA. If you only care about the higher numerical grade then SGC. Perhaps the question should be about subjectivity and which card is felt to be most accurately graded.

If there was a huge difference in price, I'd take the PSA4.5 card.

Are the borders of the PSA 4.5 that much shinier than the SGC 6 or is it just the pictures?

Here is a better scan for that purpose. The SGC one is further down the holder but they are the same height. Pretty close on the borders.

Default easy pick

for me. The visible touches on the bottom corners of the 6 puts the 4.5 ahead all day, every day.

I am actively buying and selling vintage sports cards graded and raw. Feedback as a buyer: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=297262

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.

It might still be the scans, but the coloring on the 4.5 seems more intense and I'd prefer it for that reason. (Either would still be a bit of an upgrade over my SGC 4.)
