Denton, or "Old Cy", was listed at 6'2" 210. I think it was similar to today when soccer fans speak of "Ronaldo". They could be talking about Cristiano or Luis Nazario de Lima.

we reviled Lolich as "that slimy tub of goo." Respect now, though -- twelve consecutive seasons 200+ innings,
