Here is my grayish background Dougherty with its more purple-y friend that I picked up much later. It took me many years to finally discover that not all Dougherty cards had gray backgrounds.

Every once in awhile it is refreshing to post because of disliking a card. I have never cottoned to how Lindaman's face was handled on his card...it just seems too smoothed over, and lacks detail. At least on my card. And to top things off his head is oddly shaped.

........... speaking of "marks" here's an "interesting" Hindu back ..... .... the two stray lines in upper corners and the "filled in" D, are actually "Hindu Brown" ink (under bright light and 7x loop) ...... the "specks" are Blue ..... I have never seen another Hindu back with same "oddities." ............
