Been away for a long while, dealing with some tough, tough things, so it's so nice to finally be back home to find this black and white cardboard gold waiting for me...
1971toppsgreatestmomentscarty1967laughlinfeller2.jpg The 1971 Topps Greatest Moments #3 Rico Carty is in really sweet shape, way above the grade. I believe the number on the slab indicates it was graded recently, so the (off) centering was probably factored into the grade. 'Normally' it would've gotten either a PSA 7 or 8 OC. There have only been fifty something of these cards graded overall, so I'm psyched to have it. The 1967 Laughlin World Series #45 Bob Feller (with address on back) is a great card, but it fills me with melancholy since it memorializes a losing effort by the HOF hurler. Oh well.

I picked up my first Topps Greatest Moments from the B/S/T board. I've always liked the Gibson in this set.

I'll put this at the end of the month so you won't have to look at it too long. Just my favorite set as a kid.

I assume the Snider has serious problems on the back, right?
The Killebrew also seems pretty harsh, unless there are creases not visible in the scan. Does the top right corner really take it all the way down to a 2? More chest-thumping by PSA, I suppose. "Woohoo, *strictness!!*" |

The Snider has a small pencil eraser size paper loss on back, I honestly think the Killebrew is from the bottom right corner. I actually do love nice eye appeal low grade, a change from my Koufax PC so I really appreciate a non perfect card.

I think we are talking about the same corner on the Killebrew - I meant the top right as it is pictured, which would be bottom right if you're looking at it horizontally.
