I am this and am beginning to feel it. The last 10 yrs. degraded more than the previous 10 by a long shot. Doing fine, enjoying collecting and Blessed to live in a country that allows us to have the freedoms to do as we do!

Good morning, Leon

That's me, I'm 83......with my grandson Ron, who recently graduated from the Univ. of Maine.

The 1947 BOND BREAD cards were my first BB set. I still have all 44 cards from it.

And, my first major BB cards......1949 LEAF set.

Dang, Ted. You look as well preserved at 83 as most of us look at 63! Maybe better. What's the secret, Grecian Formula 16, Geritol...what?

Hey guys,

What's my secret ? ......It must be my Greek heritage

And, that doesn't mean I paint my hair with "Grecian Formula". My hair is still it's original brown color (with a few strands of gray).

Or perhaps.....that I am one of the few collectors that recognize that these LEAF cards are only and absolutely a 1949 issue

Ha, nice. I was friends with his younger brother in Jr High. I remember his whole family being good athletes (which I'm guessing is probably typical of a lot of major leaguers).
