Is Heritage the auction house where in their rules they allow the house to bid on items ?

So many AH’s hard to keep track.

Amazing how a card could be in a caramel popcorn box 108 years ago and not a trace of staining. It's like magic!

I don't know if this is one of them, and it might be, but a few of the 1914 sets were never put into boxes of Cracker Jacks. Therefore they won't have the common staining. I believe they were presentation sets.

AH! Didn't know that. I know the 1915 set had a mail in option that allowed someone to get the full set.

I am almost positive 1914s did too. Randy Stuckmeyer (*RIP) had a set like that, I believe.
