Cards values go up or pull back? The cards pricing will continue to be volatile literally auction to auction. The prices on Key Cards, Key Players, and HOFers will continue to be strong. One of a kind and more rare cards are going to fluctuate as some will jump dramatically as 2 bidders get into a bidding war for that card. So expect many cards at prices that will surprise us
Grading companies- changes? Not expecting many changes except hopefully as the backlogs start getting cleaned up then new lower price tiers for grading will be introduced but we will never have the truly "cheaper" bulk options.
NFTs - big thing or no big deal? It will become a big thing over time to the new collectors and younger generations but it will be multiple years.
MLB lockout in 2022. All about the money and the impact all depends on how much time is lost in games played, shortened season etc. But as we see a lot of money was spent prior to the lock out there is money. Billionaires vs Millionaires. Hard to have sympathy for either group.

The Overall Baseball Collection Business will continue to expand. I see Cards staying strong but the biggest growth opportunities in Post Cards and memorbelia

Interesting indeed as those hardcore pawn people are blocks away from that pic...

Though I would take Detroit over Cleveland, Atlantic City or Baltimore any day...still hoping for a decent show in LV or SoCal

Baltimore was a great show and venue. I mean, except for that guy getting shot at the Hilton the day I got there. But way better than AC.

Cards values go up or pull back?

The cream will continue to rise to the top - a greater shift to premiums for high eye appeal for the grade cards. Everything but the cream will pull back a bit, but not a lot.

Grading companies- changes?

PSA excitedly reintroduces their value tier with 100 card minimum at $50 per card!

SGC continues to think about reintroducing a set registry but likely will not make a decision till at least 2023

An unknown suitor swoops in and buys Beckett - introduces a set registry inclusive of all 3 major grading companies and starts to gain market share

NFTs - big thing or no big deal?

Not a clue!

MLB lockout in 2022

For a lot of reasons I sure hope not

Cards for sale: https://www.flickr.com/photos/185900663@N07/albums

I am actively buying and selling vintage sports cards graded and raw. Feedback as a buyer: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=297262

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.

All card prices will increase dramatically.

Alterations will become WAY more accepted.

The big 5 grading companies will make money hand over fist.

Not a damn thing will happen to anybody for all the shady(now accepted) stuff that had been going on in the hobby for decades.
