Default 1907 Boston Doves (NL) Annual Pass

I just picked up a very scarce Boston Doves (NL) annual pass to cover Big Jeff Pfeffer's no-hitter on May 8, 1907.
This is another no-hit ticket that I'm certain that I would never find as only 2,696 fans attended this game.
The pass is in remarkable condition for being 114 years old.

Francis Xavier "Big Jeff" Pfeffer no-hit the Cincinnati Reds 6-0, issuing 1 walk, 1 hit batsman and 3 strikeouts.

Happy holidays to everyone on net54!

Awesome Scott. Do you have John Candaleria’s no hit ticket? That’s the first no hitter I remember hearing about when I was a kid. Would love to see it if you do.

Love that Candy Man Scott, congratulations! I'm thrilled to finally add one of these to my collection. It was a great way to end the most fun year I've ever had collecting.

Hi Carlos,
Believe it or not, my 23-year old son Sam and I witnessed one of these games on October 1, 2000 in Detroit.
Tiger's utility player, Shane Halter (who played in college at University of Texas with Reid Ryan, Nolan's son), played all 9 positions.
This was the 1st ML game that Sam ever attended, and he was a baby.
Not surprisingly, I saved our tickets.

Ironically, Sam & I actually saw a Kevin Hooper, a fan-favorite utility player on the Toledo Mud Hens, also accomplish this feat about 10 years ago.
Attending two games where a player played all 9 positions is Cray Cray.

I just got these signed this past weekend. Sept 30, 1980 a rookie Rickey Henderson breaks Ty Cobb’s AL single season stolen base record. April 10, 1980 HOFer Harold Baines makes his MLB debut.

signed ticket to September 3rd 1975, The best arm I've ever seen in Baseball Ellis Valentine has his MLB DEBUT, he wasted no time showing off his arm with 2 outfield assists , in the 5th inning on a flyball to RF by Larry Bowa he threw out Dave Cash coming back to 1st base to complete the double play , then in the 8th inning he threw out Larry Bowa at home plate and if that is not enough he prevented Garry Maddox, the husband of his high-school counselor, from hitting an inside-the-park home run. With one out and two on in the Phillies’ third, Maddox hit a liner that got by Expos center fielder Pepe Mangual for a triple. A reporter asked Maddox if he thought of circling the bases.“Yeah, I did,” he said. “But (Valentine) did a good job of running it down and he can throw. Funny thing is my wife used to counsel him when he was in high school

Default Ticket from Hank Aaron's historic 715th home run

Ticket from Hank Aaron's historic 715th home run to pass Babe Ruth on April 8, 1974. One of baseball's most iconic moments.

Brooks Robinson's final career HR was a dramatic 10th inning walk off three run one vs. Cleveland in front of an announced crowd of only 4826:

Not ticket related, but this stub pares well with the pitching chart that Scott McGregor (who would be the next day starter) kept that evening:

A sad day for Calvin Hill, Brian Dowling and the Bulldogs.

A game that will live in infamy in the Ivy League annals.
