OP you should insist on paying Goods and Services rather than Friends and Family if you don’t trust the person. In this case the guy had no record at all. You could notify PayPal what happened. Not sure if it will help or not since you probably paid F&F but they should know the email is a scammer.

this guy is definitely a scammer he finally gets back to me and had the nerve to ask for another $50 and then he would refund me my original purchase amount. be aware of dw293060
|
