I am a total newbie to the Colgan Chip cards (and tins). I think are so cool and unique

Thank you. They call them proofs, but no one really knows much of anything about them. My theory is that they were some type of retailer premium, maybe to put on a poster or something in the store to sell the chips. Others have different opinions.

They look great w/ tough grades
I've had a few over the years & they would have graded higher back in the day.
Here's a beat-up 1.5 that I had

Nice one! Haven't seen that one before. I've been looking at various graded examples across all of the TPG's. I don't see an actual checklist for these, but it could be fun to compile the "set".
