HOW DID THIS TOPPS CARD GET OUT OF THE FACTORY? tALK ABOUT AN ERROR
Hi Gang
I am usually in the postwar area, but recently got this card for my Ashburn collection. Didn't see any Error threads to add this to, so here you go...

That's a surprise. But there's also a slight chance someone swapped it after getting both. Patch swapping is a fraud that's become pretty common with how valuable they are getting to be. But that doesn't seem likely here.
There was a case of Panini a few years ago putting the Willie Mays jersey relics in Willie Nelson cards by mistake, and putting the red bandanna relics into the Willie Mays cards. 2008 Donruss Americana Celebrity Cuts - [Base] - Century Prime Materials [Memorabilia] #96 - Willie Mays (Uncorrected Error: Willie Nelson Relic) /50 [Uncirculated] Courtesy of COMC.com 2008 Donruss Americana Celebrity Cuts - [Base] - Century Prime Materials [Memorabilia] #97 - Willie Nelson (Uncorrected Error: Willie Mays Relic) /50 Courtesy of COMC.com

Not as uncommon as you would think and why they are usually not really valuable unless a couple player collectors get in a fight at the end.
Along with relics and logically because of most autos being illegible. It seems that many mixed up (wrong player) or upside down sticker autos also exist. Happy to see it fell properly in the wheelhouse of a player collector.
