(Gen. Isreal Putman, Rev. War hero) great grandson; in the era of when the Connecticut Tobacco Company was making the Old Put 5c. cigar. I love a good back story; still in progress.

There is so much, un-tapped history; connecting Old Put, the General and our hobby; with the E98 back stamp; just another, of my dive projects.

So happy to re-acquire this one, and even though I had to give up a nice card, my collecting tastes tilt this way.
I remember when I acquired it the first time. I am pretty sure I overvalued it by multiples ....not good when selling.
