You might have to practice self vetting everywhere else but not here, there's plenty of old school members waiting to help. Just breathe, introduce yourself on the main sub and tell us what you are passionate about in the collecting world, the rest will work out. Trust and integrity are a big thing here, that makes it a special place, it's an alien concept to most folks but jump in the pool you won't regret it.

I'm relatively newer here, never had a problem. Most of the people on this board are trustworthy, good, honest people. Research is key, but when in doubt, talk to Leon.

That being said, while the hobby is certainly booming, which is always nice that we have renewed interest in cardboard, that comes with the downside of scammers appearing.

I would trust members here over a coined card from some guy with a made up name on facebook any day.

Ive been scammed (or caught scams before falling for them) on facebook a number of times.

Here- heck, guys here send free cards with tracking just because you need them. Its a community of collectors here, Facebook, while it has its place, is the wild west of collecting

So settle in and enjoy it here- youll learn a ton about the hobby, meet good people, and likely find some great cards!
