I used to own a PSA 8 1965 Brock. It went missing and I thought i sold it. Years later I was moving some stuff in a cupboard and found it. Must've slipped out of a pile and fell just right to wedge between two boxes. I couldn't have made that drop on a dare but I did it by accident.

Not a card, but an uncle gave me a 1906-O Barber half dollar. It went missing for a while, and I figured it was gone for good, either stolen or lost. After it had been missing for a couple years, I was moving a couch, and it was underneath.

Going through a bottom drawer in an old desk yesterday, I found a small cardboard box stuck under a pile of plastic sleeves. I was dumbfounded to find these '52 B cards inside. Over the course of several decades, I had been constantly upgrading the set and disposing of duplicates online, until finally satisfied with the finished set. I thought all of the duplicates had been sold off long ago, and couldn't figure how these six - especially with half of them star cards - had hid in a drawer for so long. Thinking back about twelve years ago, a gall-bladder attack put me in the hospital and the opioid pain killers there played hob with my memory. Seems like these misplaced cards must have escaped as a result. Only G - VG, but maybe worth more now than they were then.

I hadn't looked at my binder that is full of Yankee cards for a long time. One day I took a look, and there the 1952 Bowman Mantle was. I had bought it. It probably grades around good/very good. I must have bought it around 1990, and I believe it was for around $200. |

A bunch of years ago, I realized that the card (hidden away in a box deep in the closet) I always thought was a 1956 Clemente, was actually his 1955 Rookie Card!!! It's in godawful shape (and has since come back a PSA 1), but it's awesome just to own it. That was a decent day...

Wow, you guys happen to stumble upon 1952 Bowman HOF cards and a Clemente rookie!?!?!
Whenever I find a random box or binder I forgot about, it's always filled with 1988 Donruss cards....always. (Also, isn't it weird that 1988 Donruss is 34 years old now?) |

I found this 1977 Hostess (I assume?) uncut 3 card panel sort of hidden in my Steve Carlton album of autographs and whatnot, so I figured I'd post it here to give the thread some new life. Surely, it's nothing special, but I would love for someone to tell me I'm wrong (I shan't be holding my breath)...
