All is working fine now it seems.
The only thing I can come up with is my computer needed the latest Microsoft update? I have those setup to upload automatically but it turns out that don't always happen for some reason? When I checked, there was one that needed to be updated, and assuming by how long it took, it was a big one that also required me to reboot my computer. Frustrating there for a while but all is good now.
