Wheelchair observations at the National

Great to read. In a place that size there is no reason they shouldn't be able to accommodate people in wheelchairs. Sounds like they did a decent enough job!

It's funny about people trying to assist, I was thinking throughout the show that while the wear and tear of the Covid situation has brought out the worst in many people in many situations, I saw a lot of people hold doors, offering to help people, etc. Saw it through my time in AC. Nice to see. We are all in this together. Nice to see people offering to lend a hand.

Here is some observation for my handicapped friends.
1. Parking � be prepared in not finding a parking space close to the convention hall. I had to be dropped off at the entrance and than I waited an hour for my son to come get me.
2. All the entrance doors have automatic openers. When fellow collectors see you going towards the entrance they help you.
3. All the isle widths are perfect, I had no problems. The crowds seem to flow around you
4. Bathrooms were all accessible, no problems

I went back the next day with my son and was determined to search for my show prize, Again rows and rows of modern cards. I stopped say hi to some dealers I do business with and than stumbled into the Brockelman booth. He had a lot of prewar in great condition. I saw a stack of t204�s and found my only prize of the show!

I hope again one day when the show comes back to NJ I�ll be able to go , it was so much fun.

Gary it was a pleasure seeing you again and hearing that you are doing well. It was also nice to meet your son. I was glad you were able to make it and that you had a great experience.

When my son and I stumbled into the Brockelman booth we were about to give up searching for a prewar dealer. they must of showed me twenty cards before I spotted a stack of t204's. After spending hours looking at new modern stuff and postwar cards......I was in heaven
