T206 Magee Cycle 460 Value ???

excluding the ultra rare backs (Drum, Red Hindu, Lenox) for the Magee with Bat, the Cycle 460 is the rarest back, with only 10 copies graded between PSA and SGC. In fact, the Red Hindu has been graded 12 times. The AB 350 NF has been graded 17 times, by comparison, the Tolstoi 23 times.

An SGC 4 Polar Bear sold for $200 a few days ago. The PB has been graded 104 times. This card is 10x more rare than the PB. I would value it between $1500 and $2000, personally.

If you want a very recent comp, wait until REA's Summer auction is over this Sunday night. There is the same card/back, but in a PSA 4. Your example would seem to be worth a few hundred dollars more with the extra half grade.

I have a Magee bat Cycle 460 2.5. I'm thinking I paid about $400 for it 3-4 years ago. Cycle 460's are all over the map when it comes to pricing. If the right 2 people are in the room, you could get a lot for it, but it could also go much lower than you might guess.
