Never saw this before, a 1968 Peggy Fleming card that is the same year as her impossible Mira Tuttosport rookie card, not the best looking card but still.

Nice card. I have the set. Jean Claude-Killy is the only other recognizable name to me in it. There's several Hockey cards in it, but looking at the rosters of the 68 Olympics, probably nobody worth going through the trouble to identify, unless you're into the Pre-Tretiak era Soviet stars.

I am still searching for a Brian Boitano, I am aware of only one card, from a 1994 Olympic set, but have never found it.

I'm shocked he doesn't have a QOS or mainstream Panini card. His career fit right in the sweet spot for those issues.

Default Awesome Stuff

Very cool thread. I can't scan to this site but some of my favorite Olympic cards are on very thin paper set in Spanish of Emil Zatopeck, Abebe Bikila, Al Oerter and Larysa Latynina.

He has cards in the 2014 and 2018 Olympians and Paralympians sets. I believe all of them are autographed.

Thank you. I was hoping to find a career card and I think there the only choice is 1994 Panini Lillehamer? But I'll look at those others.

Here's a 1968 German Summer Olympic set I've dug up. Includes several cards of US Gold Medalists I've pictured below, along with two other notables. Distance runner, Kip Keino and gymnast, Vera Caslavska.

For those not familiar with Caslavska, who dominated women's gymnastics during the 1960's, I'd suggest reading up on her. She was also an open protester during the '68 Olympic Games, and she ended up paying a steep price for it.
