It’s not a rare card so at these price levels it shouldn’t surprise anyone when they come to market.

It's the same one that sold in Heritage last spring for 2.28 million.

Did not realize it was the same one. Maybe I should have.
It went for 2.28 million dollars so it will be interesting to see what it goes for now.

I like the 1 overall better. The 1.5 has sharper colors but the back is a lot cleaner on the 1.
I would be happy to own either (dreaming) but would pick the 1

I'll go out on a limb and bet the under. My guess is 1.75 sans BP.

Nope, that’s why I’m a collector and not a speculator, I wouldn’t do well trying to make money in this business.

I think the question really boils down to where do you draw the line between a 1.0 and a 1.5. Are they both 1.0, but one is a little less beat up than the other one?
Does it matter that they’re over 100 years old so they should be graded on a different scale than modern cards? I’m pretty sure the answer is yes. And maybe that’s the difference. I’m used to eagle-eyed posters around here being quick to point out all of the deficits on any given card that it’s easy to forget that for these cards, we can afford to be a little more forgiving.
