That '71 Dick Williams could be a Topps Project 2020 card.

EDIT to add: So could the '77 Tommy Helms.

Yeah, that's pretty bad. Topps really liked ridiculous airbrushing of Dick Williams

Just about all the 77 Blue Jays and Mariners cards are bad. Couldn’t keep up with the expansion teams I guess.

I don't know if it's airbrushing, but the 1957 Topps Mantle has some guy in the background that's been "heavily redacted".

What's amazing to me is that Bowman had no trouble with adjusting to players changing teams — way before Photoshop. It seems like the Topps art department was made up of third graders.
