It could be from a T59 if the owner took the piece from the side of the card and not the bottom.
I think it's cool that the original owner ruined a different card to save a baseball subject. This person was really a baseball card collector if I ever saw one. ![]() .

Good possibilities so far. To me it looks a lot like that right border on the T59 card, but as G1911 mentioned, it might be from another non-sport issue. As Andy said, definitely the original owner was a dedicated baseball card preserver.
Since it is somewhat related, for fun I thought I would share a T206 of Gabby Street that has a very partial T206 Griffith Batting on the back. And on top of the Street card it appears that at one time a Sweet Caporal card was stacked. Brian |
