I picked up this great 1958 Willie Mays, which I've been hunting for months. Finally found the right card that checked off all the boxes.

Sean, that is my kind of card. 58 Mays is so tough to find with the combination of centering, registration and strong color. Really nice!

Thank you, it jumped out at me immediately, and was too nice to pass up.

So have you decided to keep it in the envelope or open it up to see how it looks inside?

Agree Peter -- very nice pickup.

Sean, that is a gorgeous '58 Mays on a really tough issue. Congrats!!

This arrived yesterday, and was pleased that it looked much better in hand than the pics

I got nothing...but am just hoping for the month to end very soon, so I can stop being subject to seeing the OP's ill-clipped thumbnail once and for all.

Just got this nice 1 Jackie to go with my 1 Satchel from the same set. I would probably rank 53 Topps just behind 52 Bowman as the most beautiful postwar sets ever made.

It's been a slow month, but I was happy to add this one from a net54 member.

Looks fantastic. Much better than the copy of this card with "clouds" (erasure? paper loss?) that a dealer tried to convince me was part of the card when I was about 12, many moons ago...

I didn't really have any Satchel Paige cards or other items in my collection, but I couldn't pass up this very affordable pencil clip. Not very rare (if it's even a legit Paige clip), but seemed pretty cool to me.
