... I like the art deco stylized " S" in the billboard for Steel Ice ? Not a lot of Fats Fothergill cards out there. He died very young in the late thirties. The Jack Hallet took the longest to find. These are Wheaties postcards. .. |

Looks like an early 20s pinstripe uniform, pre-Yankee Stadium, so it must be the Polo Grounds. Could it be Hotel Congress, now named the Congress Hotel? There is also a Concorde Hotel, but it used to be named the Fitzpatrick, so I don't think that is it. I don't know when advertising stopped on the Polo Grounds walls, but I have a 1938 Giants team photo, and there was wall advertising then.
