Is it possible that this Ruth example is the "plate" card that Fritsch used to make his reprints? Just trying to spice up this thread a little.

How much is a real Ruth strip card like that worth in the same condition as the encapsulated reprint?
If a card is submitted to PSA and it is deemed a reprint, does PSA charge some type of examination fee to the submitter? I haven't submitted to either PSA or SGC in a LONG time and when I was submitting cards, I never had one returned as being not authentic/reprint.

You still pay the grading fee even if the card is not authentic.

The blue text/border is pretty much a give away on it

I see it now. Good thing I don't work at PSA.

You're overqualified for PSA.

The paper stock should have gave it away for anyone who has seen one before. This continues to show how bottom of the barrel the new hires are getting.

I never realized that the W512 of Ruth commanded that much. I can remember a time when it seemed like a fraction of that amount.
That Heine Wagner mis-label is classic. For some reason or other, I thought PSA de-certed that a while ago. Could you imagine if PSA had to pay out on a mislabel like that today? Here's another fun mislabel: E_T206_Plank.jpg
