Yes, looks like he was just catching his footing in the majors and was starting to do well.
Unfortunately Pat was Drafted into the army in 1917 and didn't get out until basically mid 1919. So that essentially ended his career. Though he continued to play above average in the minors throughout the 1920s. Great sabr article here: https://sabr.org/bioproj/person/raymond-haley/
