Default My First Ruth - Just Received Today
It was a great mail day today. Given my budget, its the best 33 Goudey I'll likely ever have the opportunity to own. I came across this blog post about the card's history which I hope is true and not just marketing hype: https://blog.justcollect.com/the-onc...and-lou-gehrig

I think it is a great looking card and the color really pops and the missing pieces does not impact Ruth and the main parts

Congrats! That's a card I would be willing to take a swing on, also. The tear takes nothing away from the picture, name, or brand.

I no longer own this top left corner of a W516-1 Ruth card, but at least it made its way back to the collector with the rest of the card.
