That attic Scene was one of the highlights.
I would love to see how they handle, process, appraise and auction all that.
Would love to have seen them do more negotiating like the terms of Seller Premium or points back etc.
Basically would love to see the more behind the scenes stuff

I would love to see that too.

At the same time, it’s hard to imagine a business owner promoting their business through a fancy documentary and showing the customers negotiating preferential rates and discounts on fees. Who wants to admit that their customers have that level of power, and to broadcast it for all the world to see?!!

Now, maybe if it makes him seem like a philanthropist who is out kissing babies and saving widows from burning buildings, then maybe you’ll see him making concessions…

But not because the customer has any power over it. Simply because he’s a scholar and a gentleman. Plus the world’s most magnanimous auctioneer.

But he isn't. When I ask my peers who they would use to auction their wares, Goldin isn't even in the top 5.
