Default 71 Bazooka numbered was a test set

Years ago the singles used to show up from time to time - usually cut very poorly/miscut, but otherwise nice shape. The few panels in the hobby were either cut off sheets that survived (some still intact) or there was 1 panel set owned by Woody Gellman that made its way into the hobby.

The singles today are not an easy find, the panels next to impossible.

An interesting note - On the uncut sheets - the Mays panel was part of the example of the complete box on the sheet. The Mays panel and singles have definitely been less available than the others - perhaps when the original sheets were cut down, they skipped/tossed the Mays panel because it was part of the box and not as easy to cut as the rest which were just lined up in panel form. The Hundley and Jim Hunter are the other 2 players on the panel.

I am actively buying and selling vintage sports cards graded and raw. Feedback as a buyer: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=297262

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.
