To keep the thread near the top of forum...

I've finally managed to pick up a St Louis Browns pennant in nice shape. Very happy with the WGN beauty.

I gotta move to the UK!

I just stumbled across this pic in my computer files. Do any of you guys have this black version? I've never seen one (except for, obviously, in this picture I saved).

That looks really cool in black. Never seen that reversed color variation. Sweet!

Hopefully they weren't damaged. Unless it's a crazy expensive pennant, I actually prefer them to be shipped gently rolled like that. It saves on the shipping costs and they generally arrive in good condition.

I've had some pennants arrived folded (and I'm using the term folded generously) and stuffed in an envelope.

What are your new arrivals?

Eager to see the new arrivals for vintagedeputy as well... that loosely rolled technique is the new normal.

As for the part in bold.... same here about the folding. Amazing how these things can survive unscathed for 75 years. But just takes one bad ebay seller to fold it to conform to a manilla envelope, thus cracking the beautiful graphics for eternity. Such a pisser.

I've yet to have one person say "No...I don't want free shipping. Here's an extra $30 so you can ship flat". And, honestly, I've never offered any seller the money for flat shipping either.

Not only is shipping flat ridiculously more expensive now, I've never had an issue with a 12x6x6 box while pennants shipped flat are routinely bent...even had, on more than one occasion, flat pennants folded and stuffed in my mailbox by a substitute letter carrier (my regular one knows better). It makes zero sense to ship flat unless you're going to use very durable cardboard, but many people don't because it pushes you into Priority...so I'm fine with loosely rolled.
