I know it’s surprising every time I look at a vintage star and then realize how young they actually were at the time of the photo. I guess a lot smoked which didn’t help.

I actually thought Cobb looked pretty good and still resembled his T206 portraits.

It was also nice to see him with his dog. Nobody should ever believe what's written in that fake biography. All you need to do is see a man with his dog to know his nature. Looks like a very nice man to me.

I'm 43yo right now and I don't think I look quite that old.

I’m sure a linguist could describe the way people talked back then but it had such a “sing-songy” old timey way about it… love it. Reminds me a bit of how my own dad spoke from time to time (he grew up in coastal Maine in the 30’s and 40’s)
