One is exclusively auction (mostly mid- and high-range graded), and the other has a retail location and auctions lots of raw stuff. At first glance, it's logical to keep each in its own established lane and maybe cross some items between.

At least, I hope. There aren't a whole lot of places to find pre-war raw lots.

For some reason the email of the announcement went to my spam folder. I've had nothing but positive experiences with both companies so I would expect more of the same as they go forward together.

The retail/store front operation in Silver Spring, MD, goes by the name House of Cards. I see no mention in the press release regarding REA acquiring the retail operation. My guess is that the auction business and the retail business ere two separate legal entities and that REA acquired only the auction business.
