Last week I showed a couple items that I recently picked up from a long time Orioles collection, but here is another piece from it.
I was so pleased when the Orioles traded for Eddie Murray mid way through the '96 season (though I wished he would have finished his career there) but here is a 1996 warm up top of his:

Anyone have this 1971 Brooks Robinson Post Card. Look carefully. Would love to buy or trade for it. The Font is Large and towards top edge below picture centered. The 1970 has small font centered and 1972 has large font centered. All three are the same picture but the font and name centering is different.

recently picked this interesting B&W glossy team photo of the 1973 Asheville Orioles (AA) managed by Cal Ripken Sr. The team went 71-69 that season and notable players included Taylor Duncan, Bob Bailor & Mike Willis:

The Orioles are celebrating the 1983 World Champion team tonight at Camden Yards. Many of the former players from the team were honored before the game.
Back in 1984, I asked a friend of mine, that was an excellent artist, to paint baseballs of all the players on the team. I supplied her with MLB baseballs and postcards of all the players to go by. She did a fantastic job. The pictures don't do them justice. Here's the set displayed, along with close ups of a few players.
