I suspect when dealers do it, it's less that they're trying to "win" the trade and more that they're willing to trade but would rather have cash.
Personally, when I trade it's with other collectors, and the monetary value of the cards hasn't ever come up. Last edited by Musashi; 08-09-2023 at 02:54 PM.
