It might be more difficult than you think as I've seen a couple of eBay sellers with their own flips.

If I remember correctly there was another SCD (Sports Cards Direct?) after Sports Collectors Digest went out of business.
Lets see if this post is as strange as my last post. I capitalized the letters when I typed them but in my post they're all lower case. It even changed Peters post that I quoted to all lower case letters. Last edited by Pat R; 08-17-2023 at 12:43 PM. |

Isn't there KSA? I think they are a Canadien company that grades mostly Hockey. But I imagine there are some graded baseball cards out there.

Ah yes, the infamous, short lived all white flip.

Sports Collectors Digest (SCD) was considered a reputable and accurate service. It has the red logo on the silver label. Sometime after Digest stopped its grading service, a new "SCD" appeared......Sports Cards Direct. Sports Card Direct used a similar silver label but with blue logo. Sports Card Direct = POS. Similar thing happened with GAI. The original GAI was considered, generally, to be a reputable and accurate grader. Friends of mine had picked up old GAI card and successfully crossed them over to PSA and SGC. The original GAI had the silver label with the G in the little globe. At some point GAI, essentially, went out of business and the folks that remained, phoenixed GAI into Global Authority.....which became a flaming tire. https://onlygreats.com/2023/03/29/ca...ies-full-list/ Last edited by Svabinsky78; 08-17-2023 at 08:19 PM. |
