Bob "Dusty" Rhodes pitched for the Cleveland Indians and had a t206 card. James "Dusty" Rhodes was the World Series hero for the Giants beating the Indians in the 1954 World Series.

Hi Chad Thanks much for posting your card of James "Dusty" Rhodes. And, the T3 card of Bob "Dusty" Rhoades. I'm sure you know that this T3 Rhoades card is one of the toughest cards to find in the T3 set. TED Z T206 Reference . Last edited by tedzan; 08-21-2023 at 06:41 AM. Reason: Corrected typo. |

Hi Chad
My mind gets so involved in my vintage cards that I've become forgetful regarding my 1950's stuff. I clearly remember the James "Dusty" Rhodes performance in the 1954 World Series. But, I forgot that he is the #1 card in the 1955 set. TED Z T206 Reference . |

Certain Bob "Dusty" Rhoades cards are considerably tougher to find than other common T-cards.
Net54 member, Rob McKenzie, has searched for many years for the 1910 COUPON Rhoades card to complete his 1910 COUPON set. T3 set collectors will tell you that the Rhoades (arm extended) card is very, very difficult to find. I think when Cleveland sent Rhoades to the Kansas City Blues (Feb 1910) American Lithographic subsequently stopped printing him. ![]() TED Z T206 Reference .
