I would check the coaching staff and front office personnel of each of the teams. It is likely that a hall of famer is going to be associated with the team in some capacity. Sadaharu Oh coached the Yomuri Giants for a number of years. I wonder if there are cards shows in Japan. I had always hoped that a promoter would bring in Oh for a signing with Aaron. That would have been a sellout. Oh is the President/Chairman of the Softbank Hawks. These two might be a little easier -

What a cool niche! And given the proliferation of oriental players in the big leagues now, this area of collecting has to be one of the answers to the perennial question of what to grab now that will appreciate in time.

I have an amazing collection of signed bromides from 1949-early 1950s of Japanese HOFers. Need newer guys who made it. Any other Japanese collectors out there? I may have some trade items.

Personally, the Japanese version blows our hof plaques away. That card pops!
