It’s probably a team card hand cut from the mail in sheet of team cards.

Al,

I paid, I think, $100.00 for mine, unmarked and a bit rough around the edges. Now was it worth 100.00? Up for debate, but I bought it anyway.

I am still looking for the 1973 Mail in checklist, now that one has been very hard to come by so far.

Cheers,

Butch.

I have seen full sheets of the 1973 and 1974 Team Checklist sheets but have never seen hand cut cards, are you sure they were available as a mail in item?

I am referring to the full sheets of the 73's and the 76's. They were mail in from what Al has mentioned and from what I have seen after he made me aware of the 73 full sheets.

Sorry for the confusion.

Butch

I found pics of the 1973 and 1974 Topps Team Checklist sheets and both are folded in half like a mail in sheet would be, but what puzzles me is why are there no hand cut cards from these sheets ever found and are there any advertisements known showing these were available in a mail in offer?

I had a saved eBay search for the 1973 mail in sheet for years until a couple years ago when the first one I ever saw popped. There was a best offer option and I think offered $100 and the seller accepted.

All the other sheets seem fairly easy to find and I bought mine (I have them all) for maybe 30-50 each within the last few years, so during the COVID boom.
