I don’t know what the exact measurements are, but here’s a Quarter in one of them and there’s still white space around the rim.

I did cut the white foam inserts in half to lower the pinback in the container so that the face of it would not scratch against top of the plastic.

It’s been a while since I added a pinback to my collection. I’m pretty happy with this one from 1966 the lenticular evil eye is fun.
