I have bought a few obscure players who may not have a Topps card showing them with my team (Cleveland). Not so interested in guys who are on Topps cards every year, but the obscure ones are worth the price in my book. These are the only cards I know of for some players.

Default Mel Bailey Postcards

I would say 70% or more of the Fritsch postcards were printed by Mel Bailey. Probably less than 10 of each exist. Maybe less than five.

Thats part of the problem as well as blessing of collecting postcards. From my experience with JD McCarthy (and not a lot of experience at that) there are so many different postcards out there, it is difficult distinguishing between who took the original photo and who produced them. The great part is that there are postcards of many players that never had a baseball card.

I am mainly a set collector so the issue of collecting individual player postcards is not really an influencing factor for me.
